Dr. Erin Cooper
Grew up in Upstate New York. After college she attended Drexel University College of Medicine, graduating in 2005. She and her husband Geoff, also a Family Medicine physician, moved to Nebraska in 2005 for their Family Medicine residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. While her husband fulfilled his military service at Offutt Air Force Base, she completed a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, also at the University of Nebraska.
After working in Fremont, Nebraska for 5 years the Coopers moved to Lexington in 2015 to be closer to family here. They have 2 teenagers and are thrilled to be raising their family here in the Bluegrass.
Dr. Cooper is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Geoff Cooper
Dr. Geoff Cooper grew up just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2005 and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Nebraska in 2008.
Following residency, Dr. Cooper served on active duty as a family medicine physician in theUnited States Air Force, including an overseas deployment to Kyrgyzstan in 2010. During his time in Nebraska, he also served as an adjunct professor of Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he was involved in the education and training of family medicine residents. After completing his military service, he practiced briefly in Nebraska before relocating to Lexington to be closer to family.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cooper enjoys running, cycling, and golf, and values time spent with his wife, two children, and dog, Toby.
Dr. Cooper is board certified in Family Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Sinduja Jayaraj –
Originally from Vellore, India, Dr. Jayaraj moved to Lexington, Kentucky, after medical school to join her husband, whom she met during their training. She completed her Family Medicine residency in Lexington and has proudly practiced in Kentucky since 2020.
Lexington has been Dr. Jayaraj’s home since moving to the U.S., and she is grateful to be raising her growing family in the community she serves. Life outside the clinic is busy and joyful, with three children keeping her on her toes.
Dr. Jayaraj is board certified in Family Medicine and is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and the role nutrition plays in long-term health. She is currently expanding her expertise by pursuing culinary medicine training through the American College of Culinary Medicine.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Jayaraj enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and practicing Indian classical dance.
